Anchor line with chain. The anchor line Synsten is produced in colorful orange and in patterned white/black to provide increased visibility under water. This makes it easy for you and other boat owners to see the rope more clearly, unlike if the anchor line were dark blue.

At one end of the anchor line (the one closest to the anchor) is a 3 meter long chain, which is protected by a wear protection made of wear-resistant polyester. This protection is to reduce the rattle that can occur in connection with the anchor line being pulled over the boat rail, or when the rope is in the boat. The chain also ensures that our anchor line with chain sets the anchor in the correct position when it settles on the bottom. PolyRope anchor line ends with a straight shackle ready to be attached directly to the anchor. This anchor line is not leaded. Instead, chain is used, which is more gentle on our waters.

The recommendation is that you have 5-6 times longer anchor line than it is deep. The reason you need such a long line is so that the angle will be right against the anchor when it reaches the bottom and needs to be stuck.
